Do not vote for Trumps big bill. It’s a big bill that will destroy services for most Americans and give more tax breaks and privileges to wealthy billionaires. Already our democracy is at risk due to this administration’s policies. Please have courage for us…. Middle class Americans.

LGBT airmen and soldiers have served without any issues whatsoever. If you can do your job, then it shouldn’t be an issue.

One thing was we had same sex marriage available before 2015 it just wasn't nationwide. You could marry in one state then move to another where that marriage wasn't respected I know that personally. But just like the Berlin Wall fell 1989, interracial marriage became a right, 1967, Same sex marriage made things better for the country and its people.

Reading your detailed description...my unique opinion that I keep inside me came out...and always one question: "Why does sexual orientation affect the quality of the profession?? Regardless of whether it is the army, politicians, administration or any sector of the profession???? If these people are capable of leading, giving their contribution in any sector for the advancement of the nation, why should they be condemned for sexual orientation??? My deep opinion is that there are many more hidden under the guise of a normal marriage Even today, but they don't want to destroy the reputation, unfortunately such people are also vocally against same-sex marriage... It's certainly good that you explained the details... I support your written thought Mr. Murphy.. Thank you. I only wrote my thinking..🙏🙏🫣🤫🤝

The interesting thing is in history especially during WWII they would not let LGBTQ people in the military. But if the quota needed to be met they would let anyone LGBTQ, straight, etc in and not kick them out. So but no one to fight for time at the end of their time would leave without a blemished record, not dishonorably discharged either. but later on after WWII people who went in and were found out were drummed out. I'm sure many were in the position of that soldier you mentioned but those who were drummed out who no one to fight for them. and they fought for their dishonorable discharge to be removed. Some succeeded some didn't. Don't Ask Don't tell was a compromise as you well know. I'm glad you stood up to fight for the bill to end that practice.
